Winnie inherited the core characteristics of her parents: She was an exceedingly friendly bitch, reliable, independent and nonetheless adaptable. Likewise she was an attentive guard, too who took house and yard under her wings. Her unswerving healthiness attended her until high age. At a size of 63 centimeter, Winnie was an elegant, bright wheaten coloured bitch with a typical head, deep chest and excellent ridge. Very quick she turned to be the best playfellow of our children and was a therapist for many scared visiting children, also. In her youth she met other dogs always friendly, in older age confidently and smooth. Equally with an unerring instinct she raised her puppies with us. Even in the living together with our other two dogs Uraya and Neli, Winnie was very peaceable, whereby she occupied part as a pack leader. Motivated by through my aunt Anne Müller I already had the plan to breed at the purchase of our bitch Umvuma Xana. Winnie proved to be a lucky chance, passed the companion dog exam in April 1995 and could convince at exhibitions. Sovereign she got her breeding permission (9.9.1995). A nice success she reached at the age of almost ten as she achieved the first place in the 'veteran category' at our Club-Winner-Show. Winnie died at the age of 12 and we buried her under our old oak in our backyard. |
